Bolt is a year old deaf Australian Cattle Dog Mix. Bolt hails from the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii. He was flown to us by the local SPCA because great homes are in short supply on the island.

Bolt spent the first seven months of his life on a chain in the yard 24/7. Bored with no company and nothing to do, he resorted to digging and the landlord said he had to go.

Bolt is used to other dogs, and used to being around children. We’re not sure about cats. He is a very energetic little guy, but he’s also wicked smart. He graduated from our Beginners Group training class, and he LOVES to learn and work! He learns fast, and it lights him up with happiness.

Bolt is happy 24/7, and you can’t look at him and not break out into a smile. He’s a comedian and he loves to make people smile. He’s super cute, both in looks and personality.

Bolt will need some patience, training and time to get used to the world around him. All he knew was a chain for most of his puppyhood, and our Ranch is a pretty quiet place.

If you are selected as an appropriate match, you will be contacted to set an appointment to visit the Ranch and meet Bolt.
