This is Rodeo! She is a very sweet and exuberant girl who will steal your heart if you let her.
Rodeo was rescued from a shelter in California, and we are so glad she has come to Seattle to find her perfect family. She is very snuggly and just loves to be with her people. If you are on the couch, she’s often right at your side wanting a scratch. If you are cooking, she will plop on the kitchen floor to be nearby you. If you run to the restroom,…..well, you know! She does have times when she goes and rests away from the family.  She is playful, very agile, and silly.

She has had some struggles with potty training, but with a very consistent routine and firm guidelines she does well. She is initially wary of passers-by out the front window and guests in the house, but she is learning to sit when friends arrive and warms up very quickly. She adores her walks and does well if you make sure you have time to take her out to burn some energy!
Rodeo is frightened by loud noises such as thunder, fireworks, or yelling voices. For this reason, she really thrives with calm and consistent positive reinforcement of her good behavior.

She is smart and eager to do as you ask and she learns very quickly. She will do best in a home with older children or adults as she is wary of fast or loud children. Car rides are not her favorite thing to do but she jumps in readily every time. She is a good eater and shows no food guarding of any kind. Her fur is soft as a cat and she is a moderate shedder. She appreciates the security of her crate at night and when she is home alone.

Rodeo does very well with other dogs only after a proper introduction. She can be over excited when approaching other dogs on her walk. We are still working on this and are seeing slow but steady progress. She lives with another dog in her foster homes and they are best buddies.

Rodeos agility and exuberance are sure to make you laugh, she can take the stairs in one leap and she is an expert at catching treats in her mouth with laser focus. She is loyal to her people and you will truly be rewarded when she loves you with her entire self. See Rodeo_the_foster_dog for Rodeos Instagram page with more photos of her antics.

She is now updated on all shots, spayed and chipped. Her adoption fee is $395.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
