Observations with Dogs & Kids: Copper is a big baby who does not understand his own size! For this reason we believe he'd do best in a home with children 14 years or older and with no other dogs and cats in the house.

Additional Information:  Copper is a big boy with a kind heart, and all he wants is to be loved by people! Copper was found as a stray, and his owners never came forward to reclaim him. This poor boy hates living in the kennels; shelter life stresses him out quite a bit. His true personality shines when he's taken to our big yard for some playtime. He spends his time outside sniffing every possible corner of the yard (he is a hound after all) and chasing tennis balls! His big goofy smile gives away how much fun he's having, and after a few minutes of fun he finds the nearest lap to stick his head in.
