Hey there!  My name is Fudge, and I am about 9 years old.  I am a sweet little guy who loves to snuggle next to my human, and will immediately roll over for the belly rub!  I don’t see well anymore, but I get along great with other dogs and kids and need a lift up on the couch or a snuggle on the floor.  I am very gentle, and am not protective of food or territory at all.  I like my crate a lot, where I will nap and spend the night.  Because I don’t see anymore, I can sometimes get stuck walking in circles, so I need someone who will look out for me and make sure I am safe!  I don’t walk on a leash, so if we are going anywhere, please pick me up, especially if there are stairs.  I am getting older, so I don’t make it outside potty every time, but I can make it all night and for several hours during the day between potty breaks (in my crate).  I am not as strong as I once was, so I just need a human to look out for me and make sure I am safe and well-loved!  I love to explore outside if you let me, and my step mom uses a light up collar at night time so she can see me in the dark, very smart if you ask me!  I will tell you when I need snuggles or comforting or want to come out of my crate.  I take eye drops twice a day for glaucoma and some pain medicine for my joints, and my special food keeps my kidneys nice a healthy!  I would do best in a home with no steps, but would also do well in an apartment if you can carry me outside.  I am such a gentle, sweet little guy, really just looking for someone to be my best friend in my golden years!  If you are looking for someone who will appreciate every moment you spend with me, I might just be your best match!  Fudge's adoption fee is $50 but there is no adoption fee if you are a senior human who will give sweet Fudge a wonderful home.
