Meet Muncy! He is a Seven-year-old, 40-pound Terrier mix.  Muncy is a sweet but fragile soul. He absolutely adores giving kindness and love to those he trusts, but due to his past he likes to take it slow and is unable warm up quickly to others. Muncy might react very negatively and defensively if he thinks someone wants to hurt him, so rough play is off the table with him, and caution should always be taken with new people and new environments. He is also defensive of his food and of being picked up.  He just needs some TLC to get over his fears.

Muncy  is well behaved otherwise, he mostly chills at home, with an occasional playfulness, and longs to cuddle with his owner. He gets excited and will greet you at the door after a day of work. Out in parks or campouts he stays close by, and is a quiet pup. He occasionally barks in the home if he thinks there is danger afoot, but otherwise is quiet and serene. He needs a close eye on him if there are other dogs in the house, though he does do better on walks with a dog he trusts.

Muncy really just needs a patient owner that is willing to work with him on his trust issues, and just show him love.  Muncy has been patiently waiting for the right family to come along .  He is neutered, micro chipped and current on his vaccines.  His adoption fee is $300
