Godiva is a happy, sweet, and gentle pup. She is just 6 months old, 20 lbs but will grow to medium plus in size. She is a Formosan mix (or Taiwanese Mountain Dog), a breed that is not found commonly in our area (The Formosan breed is not listed in our database so we had to list her as a lab mix type). 

She has so much love to give and in her foster home is learning quickly things like leash walking, crate training, etc. She loves to ride in cars.

She will make a great family dog but will do best in a home with another dog, due to her timid nature. As is common for the Formosan breed, Godiva can be a little skittish at times. Once she has adjusted to a new situation, her funny and sweet personality comes out and she shines. 

She has been rescued from Taiwan.  She and her seven siblings were found abandoned in a ditch left to die, freezing and starving to death.  So glad their future will be in loving homes with warmth, fun, exercise and yummy food.

PUPDATE! From Godiva's foster:  This one is split personality and I’m a teensy bit in love with her   Initially she’s scared of you and will cower behind anything until she builds up trust and then once she trusts you she is the most playful, funny, loyal and adorable pup you’re ever likely to meet 

Godiva is updated on all shots, spayed and chipped. This good girl’s adoption fee is $495, a small part of which helps us slightly absorb some of her transport.
