Adam puts the "a" into awesome! Adorable in appearance and affectionate once comfortable in your company, he’s 12 pounds of happy. In fact, there’s nothing this mellow people-pleasing pup adores more than snuggling with his foster family and enjoying the ear rubs they give him. He also enjoys burrowing under blankets and pillows, napping in his cocoon-style soft bed, and going on walks where he’s slowly being introduced to new dogs and new people. While not especially interested in toys, and slightly nervous on car rides, he gets along with his much larger canine foster sister, is highly treat (soft ones) motivated, knows "sit" and is at work on learning more commands. Leash, crate and housetrained, Adam may be missing some teeth, but that hasn’t affected his appetite or his eagerness to find an affectionate fur-ever home that adores snuggles as much as he does.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our Adoption Application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you within 48 hours. If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, the next step is to set up a "meet and greet." After meeting the pet, if you would like to proceed with adopting, we'll ask that you read and sign our Adoption Agreement and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
The adoption fee for this pet is $150 which covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, heartworm test and spay/neuter.
