Cleo is one of four Shih Tzus rescued from a breeder. Cleo  is a very special girl that came from a pretty crummy way of life. You see, Cleo  has been a breeder dog, used purely to make money for her breeder. Meanwhile, Cleo  and her other breeder friends (The Sisterwives) were neglected physically for a very long time. Cleo  has endured ongoing ear infections, lots and lots of rotten teeth, untreated eye problems, and mammary masses most of her life. All while her breeder collected $800 per puppy, Cleo  and the Sisterwives suffered. 

Birthdate of 01/16/2008. Due to Cleo’s neglectful past, Cleo will require eye drops for the rest of her life due to chronic dry eye (KCS). Poor Cleo is also undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. Cleo is sweet and friendly but, she is also shy. She requires at least one other fur sibling. Cleo is crate trained, dog door trained, leash trained and a total sweetheart. Each Shih Tzu and one Yorkie that we rescued will cost us $900+ PER DOG to treat. We have a very limited time to repay our debt to our vet. Even if Cleo isn't the girl for you, please spare $1 or two to help us continue to help them.
