Observations with Dogs & Kids: Ricki and Lucy are extremely friendly, and we don’t see why they wouldn’t get along with dogs or children 8+ years!

Additional Information: Ricki came to our Shelter with his sister Lucy in May, and they quickly became staff favorites! Both of them are incredibly affectionate, but Ricki seems to be more outgoing. He loves having visitors at his kennel, especially if they let him out to explore! After a good play session Ricki loves curling up with the humans in the cat room for a quick nap, gently purring himself to sleep! Lucy is more reserved than her brother, but is still very affectionate! While Ricki explores the cat room Lucy enjoys curling up in the nearest lap for some head rubs. This sweet girl would make the best lap warmer and movie/Netflix binge buddy. Ricki and Lucy do have a history of skin issues, and therefore need to take medication daily to avoid flare ups.
