JUNEBUG is a total love. She is playful and happy, loves cuddles and lap time and life is just a dream for her even when she had a horribly swollen and painful eye ulcer. Junebug came to us with this very bad eye that could not be saved, it must have been painful, but you sure couldn't tell by how loving and sweet she was. In fact the only way we could tell she felt better after her eye was removed, was that she turned into an even more loving and crazy wild girl. It was like the lack of pain was a revelation to her, after her short life having had it. Now JUNEBUG is happy, her other eye is cloudy but she gets around and seems to see just fine, there are no further issues or need for vet care. She loves playing with the other kittens, especially JOY, who is another girl who just wants to have fun!

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
