Marlo was very skittish when she first came into care. Marlo had been abandoned in a residential neighborhood with leg injuries. She was fed formula and her injuries were treated daily. This handling has helped her become more social. She prefers alfalfa hay, but will eat timothy and oat. In the beginning she was not a fan of any of the pellets that had been offered, but will eat some romaine lettuce once a day. Eventually, she decided that pellets were good food and now eats them willingly.
At the time of her spay in September, Marlo was still a very small bunny and will likely remain in the 3 to 3 1/2 lb. range. She and Phoebe surprisingly remained bonded after their spays.
