Hi! We are Inky and Silva and we are two rambunctious girls who really love each other.

We are both 10 months old and have very different personalities. Inky (black kitty) is a little more shy, but she will come up to you when she wants pets and will ask for your attention. Silva (tuxedo) loves to be petted and will meow and try to sit on your lap and nuzzle on your neck.

We were surrendered by our owners when we were just babies to the Pueblo animal shelter.  We got very sick at the shelter.  Silva had a very bad eye infection and it was able to be saved after 2 months of medicine and vet visits.   Our beginnings were not easy for us.  We are now healthy and ready for our forever home!  We have been in foster care since February. We love to look out the windows and bird watch, play and take care of each other. We would love to go to a home as the only cats. We are currently being fostered in Denver, CO.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

    • $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens (6 months & under)
    • $150 for purebred/highly requested cats (older than 6 months)
    • $150 for kittens (6 months & under)
    • $75 for cats (older than 6 months)
    • $35 for senior cats (8 years or older)

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
