Fern enjoys daintily lounging on her "couch," snuggling under her a blanket while snoring (which she will deny ever doing), and slyly hiding in her cube while spying on you. Because, you see, you are her entertainment.  

 

Fern has refined tastes and prefers fine dining while showing off an interesting display of manners. Her favorite dish is large bowl of fresh cut grass, cilantro, thyme, parsley, blackberry leaves over lettuce and pellets. She likes to slurp up greens  like spaghetti! She also likes fresh apple tree branches and could easily win a bark stripping contest. Take that, you beavers!  

 

When not being a wise cracking goddess of greens, Fern is very shy and needs humans who will be patient working with her and have no expectations of her. She has trust issues so someone who is patient and kind is imperative for her to thrive and blossom.

 

Her foster mom says that after working diligently with her, Fern allows her foster mom to pick her up for a short cuddle and chat. Fern is working hard at her own pace to be a brave bun and overcome over her stage fright. Loud noises and sudden movements are still scary for her and she will scramble for a corner. She would do best in a calm home environment. Experienced bunny-savvy older teenagers are okay with Miss Fern. She is curious about cats, and nervous about dogs. 

 

When she thinks no one is looking, Fern entertains herself playing peek-a-boo with her blanket like it is an accordion. She is an opinionated designer who likes to rearrange her toys, push things around, and toss paper rolls filled with hay. She has amazing litter box habits. She never disappoints her fans and enjoys delivering a dramatic flop in her litter box that results in a beauty nap after a crunchy hay snack.
