Soft beds, soft pillows, and soft towels are Hazel’s love language. She loves to live the cozy life. She is friendly and wants pets and attention. She absolutely adores head scratches.

Hazel may appear shy at first, but she is quite active and bold. She is always hopping around the room looking for trouble. She loves playing with her toys, the favorite being the snuffle mat where her foster mom hides her pellets. She also loves chewing wicker balls and tossing them playfully around the room. Tunnels are also a hit. With lots of enrichment activities to keep her busy, you can channel her cravings for bunstruction into exciting hidey home renovation projects. Proper bunny proofing is always a good idea, and Hazel is easily distracted by other things to focus her energies and endless curiosity upon.

Born in early 2019, Hazel is fully grown at 4lbs. Hazel currently lives in a foster home who also have dogs. While Hazel does not interact with the pups, she is not bothered by their barking. She gets along well with bunny-savvy teens, and might like a husbun of her own. She was bonded to her twin sis, Fern, when the girls were younger, but they have since gone their separate ways. Hazel has not yet lived as a full indoor free-roamer, but with gradual increases in freedom, she will likely adapt well.
