KEANE is our top model kitten, because he will sit for ages just watching things with his HUGE eyes, and he's fascinated by the whole photography business   He got his unusual name, because he reminded us of paintings by Margaret Keane, the American artist who created all those big eyed portraits of people and animals, and had a movie made about her starring Amy Adams. Our KEANE looks like he came to life from one of her paintings, and his beautiful eyes and small size make h im very cute, but he's also a curious and loving kitten. Initially he was spotted by a homeowner on the edge of the woods behind her home. She observed him for a while before realizing he had no momma cat or siblings, and she asked if we would take him, if she managed to trap him. So that's what happened and KEANE took to people and other kittens so quickly, we think he was really happy not to be alone anymore. Infact he cried and cried in his cage alone when we first got him so we took the risk and put him in with another kitten, which was all he wanted   A buddy. He won't be alone again thanks to the homeowner who cared about him, and took the time to trap him. We hope to find KEANE a loving forever home, with a buddy for life!

    ONLINE ADOPTION FORM:        https://form.jotform.com/81848821130152

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
