Nova and her sister, Nala, came to us via a small, rural shelter after they had been found living along a busy interstate.  Nova is a wonderful dog who is fairly easygoing. 

Nova would be happiest in a home where she'll have at least one dog companion to play and lounge with.  She reads the other dogs temperaments and moods and knows when to give them space and when it’s okay to initiate play.

Nova loves treats, toys, food, and thus, is easily motivated, rewarded, and redirected. She is very gentle when taking treats and food directly from your hand. Nova knows sit and give me five and learned lay down pretty quickly.

In general, Nova is a very smart, wonderfully loving, easy going, young dog with good manners, playful energy, and loads of love to share.
