You might think I’m “just” another black cat - I'm not! I'm your adventure companion kitty! My foster mom and everyone tell me that I’m super special and the most purrrrr-fect kitty you could ever find! True story!

Here’s a bit about me:

Fur as soft as velvet! Black velvet!! And it’s not just kitten fur... it’s MY fur that will stay beautifully soft, black velvety, and shiny (as long as you feed and care for me right!) - all throughout my life!

Pretty & PETITE - so I’ll always kind of look like a little kitten... that’s cute!Chirp-chirp-chirping chirper - and my purrrrrrrr-box works overtime!
HAPPY!PLAY! Play, PLAY with you, with my kitty friends, and I also love entertaining myself running back and forth & throwing toys in the air on my own!

So ya might ask... how’d a girl like me end up in a spot like this?! Well, the short story is that I was born and lived outside for my first 10 months. My awesome caretakers brought me into The Feline Fix to get spayed and get a wound treated. Sadly, my caretakers’ landlord wouldn’t let them bring me inside even though they really wanted to. And so while the nice doctor at The Feline Fix was treating my wound in her home and fostering me, my caretakers asked if she and The Feline Fix could help to find me a home where I could enjoy the accoutrements - and safety - of an indoor life (but still letting me be the adventure-cat that I am! - on a supervised harness!). And so here I am - waiting to find my perfect forever home - with YOU - so that I can have all of the indoor amenities plus supervised adventures and live the long, healthy life that my wonderful caretakers really wanted for me.

With me - ya get all the fun of having a healthy, active, youthful youngster in your house, but ya also get the calm and reassurance of already knowing ME and my identity. No guessing-game-surprises as I grow up. I also have manners already - so I know how to chillax on the couch with you and my other feline friends too!

Jackie is being fostered in NW Wellington. However, she can make special visits at The Feline Fix in Commerce City upon request on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$250 for purebred/highly requested kittens (6 months & under)
$150 for purebred/highly requested cats (older than 6 months)
$150 for kittens (6 months & under)
$75 for cats (older than 6 months)
$35 for senior cats (8 years or older)
