Little Milo has good reason to think that 7 is his lucky number. When he turned 7 months old, this 7-lb. Rattie mix was rescued from an environment where he had little contact with humans. And after just 7 days, Milo had determined that people weren't so scary after all. He stopped running from his foster mom and started cozying up to her on the couch. Now he's settling in and beginning to work on house-training, walking on leash, and some basic commands. Milo is a good pup, who sleeps quietly in his crate at night and gets along with other dogs as long as they're calm and gentle. (Bossy, rough-housing dogs are scary.) Milo will still need time and patience to overcome his early months of deprivation, but he's fairly certain that a nurturing human who wants to help is reading about him right now. Talk about luck!
