Happiest running full tilt through his foster home, black beauty Hawthorne is not only social but endearingly vocal. As curious as he is cheerful, he loves climbing and exploring, playing with his sister Camelia, and enjoying the company of the children and resident dog. Part of a TNR (trap/neuter/return) program, but too tame for the streets, Hawthorne is approximately 8 weeks old and would love to go to a home with another playful cat, or best of all, with his sister.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

• $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens (6 months & under)
• $150 for purebred/highly requested cats (older than 6 months)
• $150 for kittens (6 months & under)   
• $75 for cats (older than 6 months)   
• $35 for senior cats (8 years or older)
