Meet DUCHESS!  Spunky and curious, this fun-loving 2 ½ year old would make a wonderful companion, mouser and family cat.  She is very friendly and wants love but isn’t a lap cat.   She was found and brought to us with her brother when they were babies after their caregiver passed away.  She and her brother used to be incredibly close but have grown apart.  She has blossomed into a beautiful, young lady that loves getting pet and attention and enjoys a good nap in a cozy spot.  She also sometimes gets the zoomies and likes to chase and play; as such, she would enjoy the freedom of an indoor/outdoor home.  She is a good friend to other cats and would love the opportunity to meet you in her Flint Hill foster home.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats’ Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
