Hi, my name is Maggie, but you might end up calling me Maggie the Magnet 'cause I'll stick by you like a magnet sticks to a cast iron skillet! I get along with everyone, I love to play with dogs, and I'm good with cats. However, my favorite thing is being next to you, doing whatever you're doing. I'm an 8-month-old Rattie mix with an athletic 20-lb. body packed with energy, so I hope that you and I will be doing things like going for hikes and taking walks. I'm a breeze on leash because my low prey drive means I won't pull and tug to chase every squirrel I spy. I am learning to play fetch and tug-of-war, which are great fun as long as you're playing with me. I'm looking for a home where someone is home all day. Please don't leave me in another room with a toy or toss a ball outside and walk away! It's very upsetting to be left alone. I need you next to me to be happy. In fact, although I'm nicely house-trained, I would even like to have you outdoors with me when I "take care of business." I think you and I could be best friends! And that's an ironclad promise!
