Reveling in her second chance at a first real life, pretty Panda is 36 pounds of utter sweetness and the model of resilience. Surprisingly patient, gentle and calm despite her months in a shelter, she loves cuddling with her foster mom, being given copious face kisses and having her belly rubbed. She also loves treats of all kinds – pig ears, rawhide bones and tiny pieces of boiled chicken that her foster mom saves for her training sessions. Frisky and playful, she’s passionate about soft toys that squeak, and no morning would be complete without the ritual of her happy dance! She begins by prancing into the yard with her favorite toy, hurling it in the air, pouncing on it as it hits the ground, and searching for the tiny squeaker while her tail gaily wags. Then after playing countless games of fetch with herself, she races in circles round the yard and ends her performance by laying her head in her foster mom’s lap for some well-deserved kisses and hugs. Highly intelligent and motivated by praise and affection, food and treats, she knows "sit", is working on "off", "down", "stay", and "heel", walks well with a Gentle Lead harness, and is crate and nearly housetrained. Now, all Panda needs to thrive is a home with a securely fenced yard and a loving family to complete her education and keep her active and adored fur-ever.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our Adoption Application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you within 48 hours. If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, the next step is to set up a "meet and greet." After meeting the pet, if you would like to proceed with adopting, we'll ask that you read and sign our Adoption Agreement and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.

The adoption fee for this pet is $250 which covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, heartworm test and spay/neuter.
