Ali was rescued by Rabbit Advocates in the late fall of 2019. She is a shy gal, but also curious. She enjoys playing with bunny toys, stacking cups, and toy keys.

Ali is the boss of her bonded pair, and of the two, she is the one that’s more comfortable with human contact. Although Ali is not quite two, she has some human teenager tendencies: she loves to eat; she loves her sleep (especially her afternoon naps); and hygiene is important to her. Oh, and sometimes she’ll chase her sister one second, and then cuddle up to her the next.

Ali is food motivated and comes running when she hears her food container being opened and she’s always game to check out a treat that’s being offered. Typical of bunnies, Ali sleeps for a good chunk of the afternoon and snoozes very soundly. Ali is a groomer extraordinaire. If she isn’t grooming her lionhead sister, Gigi, she might be making sure any stuffed animals in the vicinity are looking their best, or if you get down on the floor with her, Ali will happily groom a human member of her family.

Ali can be a bit of a bully to her bun-sister. When it’s mealtime, Ali will chase Gigi away, but then they’ll end up eating side by side. It is not uncommon for Ali to nip at Gigi’s backside and come away with a mouthful of Gigi’s fur.

Ali does like to dig at the carpet, so her adopters will want to make sure to bunny-proof areas with rugs or carpeting.

Ali has spent time with children and does fine with kids (as long as they’re gentle). She has not been around dogs, and once saw a cat in the backyard, and was not very happy about it.
