Alaska is a beautiful bob tailed kitty looking for a patient, loving home. She came from a feral colony as an older kitten and is gradually learning about the wonderful world of the spoiled house cat. Alaska has made huge progress in foster care where she adores chicken baby food and goes crazy for wand toys. She is a very smart girl and learns quickly through clicker training. However, Alaska does not like to be pet and currently will emphasize this with a hiss and fast swat. While she is a work in progress, she may never be a lap kitty. She’s beautiful and entertaining to watch. Her special family will be willing to accept her for the darling diva she is while continuing to develop her confidence through love and patience.
Alaska is fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. She will do best in an adult only home. She is currently being fostered in the Westminster area with her siblings Maine and Colorado. Please complete an adoption application or reach out to her foster mom at sdeubanks4@gmail.com for additional information.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!
If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!
