Meet GAIA! This sweetheart of a cat came to us with her sister from a colony and was supposed to be returned but said, "NO, I wanna stay here!" She has developed into an incredibly loving cat. Gaia is often found laying on her favorite perch, playing like a kitten with her new fun toys, or looking at our volunteers with her gorgeous green eyes. She wants so much love that she reaches her head out as far as can be and looks like she will even fall off her perch! We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
