Parsnip is a kind and sensitive bunny. While it takes some time to Parsnip to warm up to you, once she does, she will gladly accept pets. Parsnip feels most at ease when she is eating or when she is flopped next to her sister, Papaya. Compared to Papaya, who is very high energy, Parsnip is docile and introverted.

Parsnip is a slow eater with a more refined palate than her sister (who will eat just about any bunny-safe snack). Parsnip's preferred foods are spring mix, carrot tops, cilantro, and basil. She does not care for spinach and parsley. Her favorite hay is oat hay, but she will gladly munch on Timothy hay and orchard grass, too.

Parsnip and her sister, Papaya, have been inseparable since they were rescued as baby bunnies. Papaya is the leader and Parsnip is happy to follow in her sister's paw-steps. While they two are generally affectionate with each other, they have been known to steal food out of each other's mouths if one has something the other doesn't. A little bit of planning around mealtime is helpful to avoid this conflict.

Papaya and Parsnip are young bunnies estimated to have been born in May 2020. They would do best in a home with lots of space to run -- ideally, they'd be allowed to free roam or have access to at least 30 square feet at all times.
