Papaya is a curious and fearless bunny, but also very gentle. She loves to follow her foster providers around the house (be mindful that you don't accidentally kick her!) Once you begin to pet her, she will melt into a loaf. Her foster family describes her as a "nighttime zoomer," because of the blazing fast speed with which she dashes around the house in the evenings.

Papaya is a voracious eater who is very food motivated. She will crawl into your lap in an instant if food is involved. She will eat pretty much everything -- and she will do it quickly! Her favorite snacks are carrot tops, cilantro, basil, parsley, and spring mix. Her favorite hay is oat hay, but she also enjoys orchard grass and Timothy hay.

Papaya and her sister, Parsnip, were rescued together in fall 2020. They are almost identical, except Papaya has a dainty little white paw. Papaya is the leader of the pair.

Papaya and Parsnip would do best in a home where they have plenty of space to exercise and explore. They would love to have at least 30 square feet of space at all times or be allowed to free roam.
