This is Mabel! If you want a “low maintenance”kitty cat that doesn’t make herself known often, this is your girl. She is a beautiful, shy kitty. She has gotten to know her foster family well for the past four weeks, and although she has reacted well to multiple children around, as well as other kitties, she would probably enjoy a home that isn’t as chaotic and active. She does hide from small children and ear cleanings, but she has bonded with our children 8yrs old and up! She seems to like her quiet spots in the house, and she would do well even if her people worked elsewhere through the day. She has a history of abuse as a kitten, so it took several weeks for Mabel to want to come out and play, but she hasn’t shown aggression toward her foster family at all. She has fantastic litter box manners, as well. Rather than preferring to be held, she prefers to approach her people occasionally for a good petting at arm’s distance. She may need some time to transition and warm up to her new home! Her sweet purrs and meows will be worth the wait.
