Shiloh is 5 years old - she loves people and kids, and is dog-friendly with dogs outside the home!  She is a medium sized girl, around 57 lbs. 

Shiloh will do best in a home with older children. Shiloh relocated to AZ to a home with multiple dogs. Prior to this she has always gotten along with other dogs. She has a sister who is a Chihuahua whom is actually the boss of the pack. Due to the stress of being in a strange environment and moving into other dogs' territory, she has shown territorial and possessive behavior towards the other dogs. Outside of the home, on a walk or at a dog park or even in the backyard the dogs get along great. Shiloh would need to be the only dog in the home. Shiloh is loving, goofy and protective she loves to cuddle. She like squeaky toys and puzzles. Shiloh is very treat motivated and knows commands such as stay, sit, lay down, jump up, give me your paw. She is also bilingual and understands commands in Spanish as well as English. Shiloh would be an excellent companion on hikes and camping as she has a lot of energy, and really enjoys her twice a day walks.

Despite the aggression in the home, she is very social towards dogs and not aggressive at dog parks and while on walks. She likes to wear sweaters and definitely is a girly girl type of dog. She is pampered and does well at the groomer. She would just require a calming chew prior to arriving. She will add joy and laughter to any family. She just wants to be loved and needs lots of attention. She does not do well with being in the crate and prefers to be behind a gate instead. Shiloh has some separation anxiety, can be startled easily. As with most Pitbulls, she has skin allergies and is susceptible to ear infections due to yeast, but being on a special formulated diet has alleviated these symptoms. The allergies that cause skin irritation and ear infections are her only medical issue. Benadryl, antibiotics and diet help to reduce this significantly. Shiloh is an amazing family dog who loves adults and children.
