About Me: Hello, friends! Thanks for hopping by to peek at my story! I was born on August 4th, to a loving mother named Dutchess. I have lived inside a nice, safe foster home with my mom and littermates for most of my life. Currently, I share a room with another un-related foster bunny, but we are separated by gate. He doesn’t like other bunnies, but I like to sneak peaks at him. I’m curious about other animals and might make a good companion for an older mature bunny, but I also wouldn’t mind having my future family to myself.
I am a bit cautious about warming up to people. I enjoy observing hoomans, and occasionally eating from their hands. I think I would enjoy gentle pets from my hooman once I’m comfortable. I am very food driven, my favorite foods are mixed greens, apple, and green beans.
Currently, I love to lounge during the day and stretch my legs running laps at night. I would love to eventually be free roaming for a bit each day, in a rabbit-proofed home. I love my toy tunnel; I drag my blanket into the tunnel so I can nap comfortably. I’m a bit of an interior designer- constantly adjusting my tunnel and cardboard house to have the perfect floor plan. I’ve had a lot of fun with my dig boxes which are mainly cardboard with bits of paper, hay, and some pellets for me to forage. Oh, did I mention I have mastered the litter box, well 99% mastered the litter box. I have the occasional #2 accident outside of my litter box but that is typical I hear.
I’m looking for a hooman or family who live a quiet and relaxed life as loud noise scares me. Patience is key and I know with time I’ll end up being a lap bunny who loves snuggles and being pet.
From the foster family: Henrietta has a wonderful personality, she takes some time to warm up to humans, however she is very observant and will watch intently. Once she’s comfortable she will eat near you and even from your hand. She is playful and extremely intelligent; she loves food puzzles and solves them quickly. She’d be great at learning tricks such as stacking cups or other bunny-oriented games. She’d love to have her own room to roam and explore and once she’s comfortable would like to free roam. But, like most bunnies- she has a vendetta against cords and anything that plugs into an outlet, so caution. Henrietta would make a great addition to someone new or experienced with Bunnies.
