Looking Glass Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) virtual rescue, using a network of dedicated fosters throughout Louisiana and the Northeast to care for our animals until adoption.  You may be required to travel if approved for adoption.

My name is Gunner!  I am a 3-year-old black lab mix looking for a wonderful home and family to share my life with.  Unfortunately, I found myself lost and alone with a dog friend.  Thankfully we were picked up and are currently being cared for by a very special foster mom.  I really am a very easy pup - I like everything!  I'm good with other dogs, I love people, I love to get as much affection as possible from my foster mom, I'm ok on a leash but could use more practice, I will try to sit on your lap, if possible, but my foster family says I'm too big for that.  I'm not a big barker and my foster family says I have medium energy - so I'm not a crazy guy.  I'd make a great companion for walks, maybe even runs.  I guess my only fault is that I prefer a home without cats.  My foster mom says I'd bring love and joy wherever I go and will make a great addition to just about any home and family.  If you're looking for a very affectionate, fun-loving life companion - choose me!  

Gunner is up to date on all his veterinary care, has completed heartworm treatment, is neutered, and ready to be adopted!  As with any new pet, Gunner will need time to adjust to his new home and training to become the very best family dog he can be.
