    The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.


    Meet Piper! This beautiful 7 yr old girl found herself in an overcrowded kill shelter, through no fault of her own. Our rescue group saved her and she has been in boarding and foster homes for several months. 

    Piper is an older girl but still young at heart and is quite delightful.  She loves affection and to be pet on her head. She seems to have a smile on her face at times and walks with a commanding 'prancing' presence!!  She has excellent leash manners and would make a great companion and walking partner.  She is quiet and easy to please.

    Piper has not been good with other animals (cats or dogs) so she will need to be the only pet in the home and would do best with an experienced dog owner.  For an experienced owner, she would be very easy to manage.  The main task is not trying to introduce her to other animals.

    Note: Some pups are in boarding facilities in order to save their lives. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel.
