The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.

Ramone needs an adopter ASAP!! Our rescue saved Ramone after he had been placed on the euthanasia list, through no fault of his own, just to free up space in an overcrowded shelter in NC. Meet Ramone, a 4 yr old goofball who loves nothing more than running and chewing on tennis balls! This handsome boy is sure to bring a smile to your face with his playful antics. Ramone is a champion runner, with boundless energy and a love for the great outdoors. He'll happily chase after that ball as long as you're willing to throw it! Just don't expect him to bring it back - Ramone hasn't quite mastered the art of fetch yet. But that just means you get to join in the fun and chase after him instead! When Ramone isn't playing ball, he enjoys taking long walks and exploring his surroundings. He's always up for an adventure. If you're looking for a fun-loving companion who's always up for a good time, look no further than Ramone! Ramone is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and our rescue will neuter him before going to an adopter. If you are interested in Ramone, please text Julie Powers 919 624 0059.

To apply to adopt, click on https://www.arcadiarescue.org/application.

If the pet you applied for is no longer available, www.arcadiarescue.org/adopt to see all of our available pets.

Note: Some pups are in boarding facilities in order to save their lives. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel.

If you can foster, go to https://www.arcadiarescue.org/foster and fill out a foster application. Thank you!
