    The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.


    Meet Abigaile! A gorgeous 8 yr old coonhound, found herself in an overcrowded kill shelter in NC, through no fault of her own. Abigaile is a very sweet hound, but she has been overlooked simply because she's an older girl. She is up to date on her vaccines, fully vetted spayed and ready for her furever home. This precious girl needs to be in a warm, loving home for her golden years. This girl is your typical hound! As she is older, she's just so much more endearing and wants nothing more than to curl up on something sift!     Note: Some pups are in boarding facilities in order to save their lives. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel.
