    The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters.


    Meet Big Mac!  Our rescue recently saved Big Mac from an overcrowded shelter in NC.  He is doing very well in his foster home, but needs to find a family of his own.

    Big Mac is a 5 year old male Rottie mix with 60 lbs of pure love! The foster mom indicated he is house trained, has very good house manners and walks really well on a leash.  He sleeps like a champ and hasn't given her any trouble in the home.  He is very affectionate and has made a wonderful TV buddy.

    Note: Some pups are in boarding facilities in order to save their lives. This is far from ideal, they really need to be in loving homes. Due to record number owner surrenders this year, we have zero foster homes available. Fostering helps save another pup from euthanasia in an overcrowded kill shelter needing to free up a kennel.
