Minnie, at three months of age, is worth her 19 pounds in pure puppy preciousness! The black and white beauty, abandoned with her brother on the highway, has, thankfully, found love in the safety and security of her foster home. Supremely sweet and snuggly and charmingly chill, she loves being petted and cuddled by her foster mom, napping next to her, resting her head on her and being carried around like a baby. Increasingly independent and curious, she enjoys exploring her environment, playing with toys, chewing on bones, playing fetch, and would dearly love playing with her large doggy foster friends. Fond of all treats, especially blueberries and carrots, accepting them gently, she’s started learning some commands, and already knows to “sit” for food. Motivated by food, toys and love, she hasn’t gone for walks since she’s not yet been vaccinated, sleeps in her playpen at night, and is diligently at work on her house-training and on play biting less. With her whole life ahead, Minnie will thrive in a loving home that will perfect her manners, complete her training, including her commands, and ensure that she’s both safe and satisfied in every paws-ible way.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. 

The adoption fee for this pet is $450 (includes a $50 refundable puppy training deposit).  Our adoption fee covers the following:

Microchip

DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.

Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption.
