From the Foster Family: Buttercup recently arrived from down south and is ready to find a comfy place with lots of love to call home. She has had a tough go at life but it hasn’t dampened her spirit.  Buttercup could use a little confidence building but she is more than ready to explore the world with her new human best friends; nose to the ground in true hound fashion, of course.  Never enough sniffs!  Buttercup adores the children in our home (6 and 4) and actively seeks them out for attention and snuggles.  She also *loves* to play with other dogs; she’d be a great addition to a home that already has a dog. If you’re looking for a funny girl who keeps the whole family smiling, Buttercup is your girl. 

 

About Me: Hi, I’m Buttercup!  I’m new around here, but I think I’m going to like this place called Minnesota!  When I lived in Mississippi I was all on my own.  I wandered around by myself for months until one day I saw a house with a family in it who took care of me until I could hitch a ride north. I was in a sad state when I wandered up to them; emaciated and wounded.  But my legs are all healed up now and I’m ready to leave that life behind to run with a pack I’m a permanent member of.  If that could be with you, please fill out an application to meet me soon!
