Luanne is the sweetest girl you’ll meet. She sleeps with us every night and greets us with a morning “hug”. She has a huge appetite and is slowly gaining weight after weaning the puppies. She will grab food on the counter. We are also trying to break the habit of jumping on top of the counter. She's a smart lady and knows where the food is. Momma does have some accidents; however, they are decreasing in frequency. We typically keep her in our climate-controlled garage during the day so she's close to her pups. She does not appear thrilled with the crate but is getting more comfortable in it. She has some legs! She can jump over baby gates, so a taller baby gate has been handy! She has the capacity to learn obedience if you’re willing to be patient. Momma’s love outweighs any work in progress!

Hi, I’m Luanne. My foster family calls me “Momma” or “Momma Lou” as I am the momma of 7 beautiful puppies. My puppies and I came from down south after I gave birth and needed a loving, warm place to stay. I was in rough shape when I first arrived, but now I am doing much better! I have gained some weight and my coat is healthier. I have a HUGE appetite and love treats! I love going for walks too! I am starting to come out of my shell more. I love to be outside running around with my foster sister. I might even take a break to chew on a toy. Most of all, I love cuddling on the couch or in bed with my foster parents! I love to be loved and have plenty of love to give back.
