    Meet Nilin!

This wonderful boy is so so special. We partnered with SPCA International to bring Nilin to Seattle from Palestine. The conflict in this region is causing much suffering for people and animals alike.

Nilin made it safely to us and we are getting to know him better every day. He is around 5 years old and around 65 lbs. He could use a few extra pounds on him.

Nilin is a gentle soul. He greets everyone with a meekness that just makes you fall in love with him. He is so kind. He is timid which is not surprising. He has been through many trials and tribulations. Through it all he has kept his faith in humans. Nilin has a lot to learn. He is not used to living as a pet but he seems to be taking to it like a duck to water. He loves love, he loves attention, he loves belly-scratches and seems so grateful for any attention given to him. He is just starting to learn to walk on a leash. He did not really know what that was about. He is timid outside because the world can be a daunting place when you don't quite know where you are and what is happening to you. Nilin has some scars on his body and probably on his soul too.

When you meet him, you can't help but fall in love. Every time he takes a few steps towards progress, we celebrate and get teary-eyed.

Nilin spent some time in a sanctuary in Gaza where he had to share scarce resources with many other dogs. As a result, he is wary of other dogs and will do best as the only dog in the home. It is unlikely that he has ever seen a cat.

Nilin needs a home with a fenced yard and someone who can patiently guide him and help him blossom. He will become your best friend.

He is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $395.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
