Ariel puts the “a” into affection! Always attentive to her fosters and their two-year-old daughter, this sweet six-year-old black beauty is 38 pounds of pure doggy LOVE. As an owner surrender who was clearly adored, Ariel is easygoing and calm, loves being close to her fosters, cuddling and snuggling with them, resting her head on them, showing her paw for more affection and rolling over for belly rubs. Good natured and well behaved when it comes to being brushed and bathed, she gets along famously with her doggy foster friend and other friendly dogs, enjoys chewing bones, playing fetch and going for walks, walking best with an easy-walk harness. Motivated by love and food and especially fond of antler chews, accepting them gently, she currently knows “come,” “sit,” “down” and “no.” Uncrated and almost fully house-trained, attentive and affectionate Ariel will adore any adoptive family that will complete her training, including her commands, and ensure that she’s adored in return.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.

DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.

Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption.
