Thankful for her second chance at life, 3-year-old Teeny Tiny is slowly learning to trust again. As she settles into her foster home, the sweet, shy and submissive 29-pound beauty now wags her tail at her foster mom, and the yearning look in her eyes clearly says, “pet me and love on me.” Moderately energetic, she enjoys going for walks, playing with and taking her soft toys outside and chewing on bones. Good with similar sized dogs and large ones, motivated by food and love, she accepts all treats gently, but currently knows no commands. Leash and crate trained and almost fully house-trained, Teeny Tiny is best suited to a tranquil home, perhaps with a canine companion, and especially patient adopters who will earn her trust, teach her her commands, and ultimately reap the benefits of watching her bloom.
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails).
If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.
The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following:
Spay/neuter
Microchip
DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.
