Hi!  My name is Apache!  I am a 12-week-old, fawn colored German Shepherd mix. I weigh about 15 pounds and am still growing.   Unlike the helicopter I am named after, I am not likely to attack, except for cuddles and kisses!  My foster family's farm is so great, and I love exploring all around the yard and meeting new friends. The goats and horses don't seem that excited to see me and the cats don't seem that interested in me either. Oh, well, I still have my siblings and the older dogs here to play with!  I would love to have another dog in the home to play with in my furever home, but don't require one. When all the fun and games are done, I like to take a nap somewhere near one of the humans here and get some snuggles, too. Because I love being around my people so much, I don't need a fenced in yard.  I am not quite as food obsessed as my siblings but definitely enjoy my meals and tasty treats!  Since I tend to be a slower eater, they don't use a slow feeder with me, and I am crated so that I can enjoy my meals in peace.  My crate is a nice place to eat and catch a nap, too. I do sleep well in my crate at night although I may wake you up for a quick potty break sometimes.  Because I'm still a little, I will need someone to continue to help me learn my potty manners in the house. I'm a quick learner - promise!   There are no young children here, but my foster mom thinks I will do great with them as long as they understand I am a puppy and do all the puppy things. I would love a home with lots of toys to play with!  If you think I would be a great addition to your family, get in touch with your adoption coordinator.
