Hi!  I am Chinook!  I am a 12 week old, black and tan German Shepherd mix. I weigh approximately 15 pounds and am growing. Like the helicopter, I am up and ready for any mission that comes my way.  I love adventure, fun and games!  There are tons of fun to be had here at my foster family's farm exploring their big yard and making friends with all the other animals. Playing with my siblings and the older dogs here is so much fun. I would love to have another dog to play with in my furever home, but don't require it as long as I have an active family that will play with me. I try to get the cats to join in, but they quickly tell me NO! and that they don't play puppy games. They are so boring. There are also horses, goats and ferrets as well, but they don't play puppy games either. I do not currently need a fenced in yard, but will need one in the future. My favorite things in life are exploring, eating and then snuggling!  I really LOVE mealtime and will help serenade my foster family with the songs of my pack.  All meals are given in my crate. I think my crate is a great place because every time I go in, there is a meal or treat waiting for me.  It is also a nice place to take a nap and I do sleep in there at night. I am getting better about letting you know when I need to potty but still need help learning house manners.
