Meadow makes her foster home a merry home. The endearing and energetic 11-month-old puppy is 20 pounds full of playfulness and affection who’s a HUGE snuggler and cuddler and will even “somersault” into her foster mom’s lap to ask for belly rubs! As sweet as she is spicy, she loves resting her head on her, doing a dainty version of the ranger crawl and then dancing and prancing pertly about. Not the greatest fan of walks, Meadow much prefers jumping and playing inside, LOVES chicken-flavored bones and peanut butter, durable toys like ropes and Kongs, and engaging in robust games of fetch outdoors. (A dog park would be paw-fect for her). Good with other dogs and the resident cat, motivated by food, toys and love, she currently knows “come,” “off” and “no,” accepts all treats gently, is crate trained and almost fully house-trained (she loves being hugged for going potty) and is at work on her leash skills. Only just starting life’s journey, Meadow will make the most of that life in an active home, preferably with older children, with loving adopters who will perfect her puppy manners, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her mentally and physically fulfilled fur-ever.

 

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails).

If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. 

The adoption fee for this pet is $425. Our adoption fee covers the following:

Spay/neuter

Microchip

DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption.

Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption.
