Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them.
When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life.
Hi, my name is Kiera Rose, and I'm a beautiful GSD with an estimated DOB of 8/2/23 who was pulled from my former home due to safety concerns. I was placed in a shelter where I was very stressed and reactive, particularly towards some of the male workers. However, I have warmed up to people who approach me in a calm, gentle manner. I also spent part of the holidays with a foster couple and they reported that I can be a velcro dog. I didn't have accidents in their house and I enjoyed playing fetch with them. The shelter asked FRGSR if they could help me, and they agreed. I'm currently in a Board and Train program which should be completed by mid-February. I did live with one other dog in my original home, but the shelter staff noted that I didn't care to be around a high energy "test" dog. UPDATE: Daycare reports I'm a rockstar. I'm also learning how to be a running partner. I'm currently located near Salt Lake City, Utah and FRGSR is hoping to find a potential adopter who lives in or near that area. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application. My adoption fee is $400.
