Please consider sponsoring a cat. For a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.
Chester's mom had a stroke and couldn't take care of him anymore. He tested FIV+, so the vet was going to put him down! There's ABSOLUTELY no need for that! FIV+ kitties can live long, healthy lives. AND they can safely live with FIV-negative cats without infecting them. The staff at the clinic totally disagreed with the vet and they called us to help. Here's a NIH study that shows FIV+/- cats can live safely together without negative cats becoming infected. FIV is a misunderstood disease and one of our goals is to eduCATe people about why you shouldn't pass over a purrfectly good cat because they have FIV. Chester is a big chunk of friendly boy kitty. He's very chill. He loves attention and gets along with other cats. He certainly doesn't deserve to die!

Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained.

Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org/adopt.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Click on "Fill in", you don't have to register.  For more information about this kitty or any others, you can contact us at Adoptions@aaFlorida.org.  We are a foster organization and don't have set hours we are open - but we will gladly set up an appointment for you to meet any cat.  Of course, you're under no obligation to adopt if you come to meet any of our fabulous felines.
