Jake loves his people and is an easy-going amazing boy. He greets you at the door with his stuffie because he wants to play fetch. Tennis balls are life. So are dog beds. He is good on short flat walks. His hips are great for a 12-year-old Lab, but he will let you know when he wants to turn around and go back to the car (1-2 miles). He loves other dogs and would love a gentle playmate. He has not been cat tested but we expect him to be good with cats. He is good with kids but is big and doesn’t always know how big he is. He will sit and lay on your lap if you let him. As all labs do, he has a bit of a whine, but once he knows the routine he settles in. He doesn’t love the car, but with a seatbelt he sits tight and he loves sniffing new places. He is blind in one eye and it doesn’t seem to bother him. His teeth are great. He even loves to be groomed.
