Looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion? Meet Taffy, an adorable 7-month-old Collie/Husky mix, weighing around 40 pounds. This sweet pup has already been on quite the journey, finding himself in two shelters at a young age. But his playful personality and irresistible charm won over his handlers, who saw his incredible potential.

Because of that potential, Taffy hit the jackpot—he was awarded a training scholarship and is now part of the Tara’s House family! He’s currently enrolled in a board and train program at Ridgeside K9 Central MD, where he’s learning the structure and skills he needs to thrive.

Taffy is a curious, energetic, and goofy young dog who’s working hard on his training. He’s already crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night. His training includes:
✅ Basic obedience
✅ Leash walking
✅ Impulse control
✅ Engagement with his handler
✅ Socialization with other dogs
✅ Exposure to public places to build confidence

Once he graduates, his new adopter will receive training guidance to ensure a smooth transition into his forever home.

Adoption Fee: $450 (includes neuter, routine vetting, and microchip).
