Hi, I'm Freya, a beautiful Belgian Malinois with an estimated DOB of 1/27/23 who was transferred from a shelter where I was surrendered by my former owner after he lost his home. The shelter setting was really overwhelming for me, but thankfully, FRGSR agreed to give me a second chance at life. My former owner described me as a talkative dog who loves to play fetch and have my belly rubbed. I know some basic commands, and I didn't chew things up in his home. I'm now living in a foster home and I'm doing really well. I'm house trained, I know how to use the dog door and I love my morning walks. I have very good recall and I'm easy to redirect if I fixate on things like squirrels. I do get really excited when the doorbell rings, and my fosters are working with me to stay calm when people enter the home. I have done well around other dogs too and I'll even take turns switching from a submissive role to more dominant one, but I'm not showing any concerning behaviors with other dogs. However, small children make me uncomfortable, so I'll need a home without them. I'm an affectionate girl who would love to find my forever person/family.
