Hi, my name is Edie!

 

I am a sweet baby angel kitten. I had a tough start to life, if you notice anything different about me? 

 

I was born outside with three brothers (and four legs) right as winter was coming. It wasn’t ideal, though we all made it work. I found lots of places to hide, my favorite was up inside car wheel wells. Unfortunately this led to me losing one of my front paws, as I was injured one night before being rescued. I had a lot of nerve damage which kept me out of pain, but now I’m learning about life as a tripod. 

 

I’m a very tough little girl. Having all brothers has probably helped. I recovered from my big leg surgery quickly, and now I get to chase and tackle my brothers all the time.

 

I am very cuddly. I purr so loud every time I’m held, the vets have never been able to hear my heartbeat. I’ve only enjoyed being held more since my leg has been gone. 

 

I might have three legs but I can do everything a normal cat can. I love to play, run, scratch, climb; this hasn’t slowed me down at all. I just have a very cute bunny hop now. 

 

I’m looking for someone to adopt both me and  my brother Irwin. He helps me have more confidence when I’m scared and has been really sweet to me while I recover. We are a bonded pair I guess. 

 

I’m up to date on my shots, but waiting to be spayed. I will be ready for adoption on 4/23/25. I hope to meet you soon!
